Ensemblast is a dynamic chamber music collective founded by cellist Dr. Isaac Casal that bridges classical tradition with the vibrant rhythmic languages of Latin America, while also embracing the rich diversity of American musical traditions. Rooted in artistic excellence and cultural exchange, the ensemble reimagines the chamber music experience through virtuosic performance, stylistic versatility, and bold programming.

Formed by internationally trained musicians, Ensemblast brings together cello, violin, piano, bass, and percussion in programs that move fluidly between classical masterworks, American chamber repertoire, tango-inspired works, contemporary Latin American compositions, and crossover pieces that connect concert audiences with broader cultural traditions.

The ensemble has performed in the United States and Latin America, collaborating with international festivals, universities, and cultural institutions. Their performances are characterized by rhythmic vitality, expressive depth, and a strong sense of dialogue among the musicians.

Recent projects include appearances at major cultural festivals, interdisciplinary collaborations featuring dance, and recordings of original and contemporary works from across the Americas. Through its programming, Ensemblast honors the legacy of composers such as Astor Piazzolla while also championing American and Latin American voices, expanding the chamber music canon through cross-cultural exploration.

Beyond performance, Ensemblast is committed to education and outreach, offering masterclasses, workshops, and interactive concerts that make high-level artistry accessible to diverse communities.

Ensemblast represents a new generation of chamber music: technically refined, culturally engaged, and rhythmically alive.
